Had my second windsurf since my operation last week down in cornwall. Got to meet up with some good mates, Muzza and George for some surfing and paddle boarding and the first barbie of the year, awesome!! My girlfriend Ellie was windsurfing with me but got freezing so got the video camera out and filmed me for about 10 minutes till she got too cold doing that too. I had to come in because my hands went numb loving england!

BROKEN WRIST IS FIXED!!

At last I'm back in the game!
Since I had an operation on my wrist back in November I've slowly been recovering. I came out of cast about a two months ago and have been having lots of physio, swimming loads and getting into the gym. My arm is not as strong as it was but its getting there!
When working for Club Vass in Greece, I broke the Scaphoid in the wrist. This is a rubbish bone to break as there is a very little blood supply. If you don't get it fixed it starts to die! Brilliant! The Greek Island healthcare service wasn't quite up to scratch and it wasn't too painful, so to cut a long story short, I carried on windsurfing and working for Club Vass for two years before I finally went to the doctors to get it sorted. Unfortunately, it was bad news and I had to have a horrible operation which involved taking a bone graft from my hip and putting it into my wrist along with a pin, ah! But I'm all in the clear now, so bring on some wind and some waves!!
